Having Faith: An Ecologist’s Journey to Motherhood

Kriss over at Circle M Farm suggested Having Faith after reading author Sandra Steingraber’s earlier book, Living Downstream. We’ll be reading it together beginning January 27, 2008; you can find the complete listing of posts for this Reading Circle at the bottom of this page.

If you think you might like the book, you can read considerable excerpts from it (including all of Chapter 4) in the Books section of the author’s site, www.steingraber.com, and look up Kris’ wonderful invitation to read together.

If you like what you see, the SmartLink below (the little blue box by the book title) will help you get your own copy of the book from a wide variety of sources, including Amazon.com; your local, independent bookstore through the Book Sense network; or your local library via the WorldCat network.1

What we want to do here at Reading Circle Books is give Having Faith a close reading, with our host Nicole Five Pennies posting once a week to spark conversation about each individual chapter in turn. You could probably comment and enjoy the group without your own copy–but it really is much more fun if you are reading along!
